We are pleased to note that our two senior award winning designers ManoriJayasinghe and SajeewaThotagamuwa were selected by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) to participate at a “Techniques in Jewellery Design” course conducted by the Gem &Jewellery Institute (GIT) of Thailand.

Unveils New Journey Jewellery Collection
Careems Jewellers established in 1890 recently celebrated its 125th Anniversary at the Hilton Colombo. The gala banquet at the grand ballroom of the hotel was attended by close family, friends and many long standing clients. Careems has decided to commemorate this special year by "Celebrating 125 Years of Design". A new collection of exquisite jewellery named the 'Journey' collection was launched during the evening.
Speaking at the event Mr Ferrin Careem the Chairman of Careem Jewellers, provided a wonderful narration about the history of the firm and the deep rooted values which has enabled their family business to be a premier jeweller over four generations. Commenting on the launch of their new jewellery collection, Mr Shezard Careem the Managing Director of Careems, highlighted the uniqueness of the Journey collection which is based on the five different eras of jewellery design which have prevailed over the past 125 years.

Careems participated at the "Wedding Expo 2015" held at the Hilton Colombo Ballroom during the 7th and 8th of February 2015. It was a successful event for Careems with many visitors discussing and planning their jewellery for the big day!
